1. No.
2. Dead Space 1 was pretty good, great atmosphere, good shocking moments. Dead Space 2 had way more action, but was still good, still had its moments, especially on impossible. Dead Space 3 on the other hand fell victim to the mainstream and is now nothing but a third person shooter, and not a very good one, imo.

Just like anything EA touches. (Mass Effect, Dragon Age)
The only good thing about Dead Space is the sound design.

Dead Space is overrated, i played the first one and didnt take a liking to it at all.
