BoP Tournament

What say y'all to a tournament within the clan? Starting Saturday (24th). We'll have until the following Friday to play our matches then the final will take place on the Saturday.

If everyone wants to do it, then post with your desired tournament format. As long as it isn't 2/3, i know how we all hate that, right? (;

First to 10 or Bo3/5 with multiple sets would be best. I'm interested but I can't play Friday or Saturday. Not saying that I'll make it until then but just want to state that right away!

Best of 3 sets.

Winners of 2 sets advances, loser into the losers bracket.

Losers bracket play each other until then final lose in the losers bracket your out. Winner of the losers bracket faces winner bracket winner in the final. Winners bracket finalist must win two games losers bracket finalist must win 5 games.

Simple format really but it gives everyone a good chance. You can only change char if you lost the previous set. In the final both can pick any charecter.

Best of 3 is what we did vs FH,sets are games,as in 2 rounds won,same thing.

6 outa 10,is very forgiving about adapting,if any nervouness is present it'll go away very fast due to the longevity of the fights.

I agree with this format

someone tell me whats the difference in the sets,1 set is 2 round,best out of 3 means you gotta win 2 and that's the same format used vs FH

Difference is, we have a losers bracket. So even if you lose, you can still win the whole tournament.

Ik,just wanted to see the diff in the sets.

good idea but, best out of 3/5 is to fast. 2 or 3 fights, in worse case. I loved the good old first to 5 matchups. so more like qwark means. when you r nervous or don't know your enemy (like me, I didn't fought every BoP, already), it gives u more time to get used to his style. so it would be max. 9 fights in best of 5 (when its 4-4). but min. 5 (5-0)

and we should add the official tournament-rule, that only the looser CAN change character, he needn't to but he's allowed. winner mustn't change.

and I'm just able to play friday-night, to sunday-morning. and for that we need a date, because I'm only on weekends at home and have to do some other things, too. :D

After this FH tournament is done with, we should really start organizing our own BoP tournament. I want to start making it a monthly event. Would be fun.
