MKX Gameplay Trailer !

I love it, looks amazing. It's dark, gritty and more disgusting than it has ever been. Movement looks fluid and a lot better than in Injustice. Interactables are blockable. I'm a 100% positive that this will be awesome.

I just saw the new gameplay where they talk about the storyline. The game looks nice and fluid unlike injustice. I'm more concerned about the fighting mechanics than the story and graphics tbh.

From what I've seen so far, i'm extremely disappointed. really...

But why? In its core it's still classic MK, just with a couple new features such as running and backdashing that both take up agility meter, BLOCKABLE interactables, that take up said meter as well, so adding to the fact that interactables are blockable, now you can't spam tham anymore either. Presentation, sound, animations, it's all better than ever... I honestly don't see what's wrong.

let me break it down.

Injustice got all the things that mk had tried in the past ( intractable, stances, weapons, whatever) and worked great on it.

Mk got back to the roots, and this was the main reason of it's great success.

it seemed they gonna go through 2 totally different ways as franchises, great so far.


Now, all we've seen so far is all of these elements returning, and of course they gonna work this time -NRS rocks no matter what. BUT…

WTF are all these characters? i would not give a fuck for Ferra/Torr or the Lady bug or whatever. they are great, but they just don't fit. They are not MK.
The history is repeating itself , the same exact things happened after the original mk trilogy. fuck it.


Now, the game overall seems amazing, and it's gonnal be a great fucking brutal experience. I will play it like a maniac, but i would not love it mate. I feel it...

to avoid any misunderstandings, the gameplay things we've seen so far will work great, even the run button.

I'm only disappointed for the current roster. If they add a lot of the classic chars, i'm gonna love MKX

Seriously? THAT is your major complaint? Wow... no offence dude, but wtf? I want Ermac pretty fucking bad (I know he still might be in the game, there's 18 more free slots) but if he won't make it, that Kotal Kahn guy looks so cool that I might just not care anymore. Sometimes you have to accept change man. And btw, I think these new characters fit in just fine.

MK was always about it's ridiculous story and characters.
IF you don't care for the characters anymore, and also want a deeper gameplay, street fighter is always there :)

What I meant by that, is that I don't care for the old characters anymore, not that I don't care about characters in general. And I hate street fighter.

No way. When asked about classic characters returning, he said that there will be some classic characters but mostly new ones. I actually believe that the majority of characters is gonna consist of new ones.

at this point, i hope they are not more than the half. counting descendants like Cassie in the half count of course.

Kabal will be 100% in. Cyrax and Ermac too.

I hope so too. While I like the new characters, I would still like to see older ones. Especially my mains in MK9 like Ermac, Reptile, Shang, Raiden... but I kinda doubt it.

Seriously, if they don't bring back raiden, or do any joke of him being the bad guy, oh my… the will have gone too far. But it's Nrs anyway!

Nah, Raiden has to be in. The main bad guy is probably Shinnok.
