Hey guys,

Who has knowledge of Jax in general and can give me some tips?
I feel very confortable playing him and i think i finally found my main.

When do you have a free Groundpound.
I know that after a OHS you can Ex GP and after 413 you can dash in and combo or GP (if opponent doesn't do a wakeupattack he will be hit)
Do you know other setups?

Please advice,

i was gonna study jax... but then i took an american flag to the win... and that turned meoff :D a good choice m8 just make sure that you dont utilize wakeups more than needed cause even thogh they are hard to punish sometimes they may leave you opened to ground presure... otherwise hes awsome as mixups and can rly get in his most confortable range as fast as he can... doesnt even need bars for that

ground pound is a mixup,if they don't move they get hit,if they move they avoid it.

you can cancel a ground pound,the whole point is baiting a jump or hitting with it.

jax is a rushdown char with decent zoning and mindgames,he requires very good footsies and anti air though.

if you're planning on using him,learn pokes and anti air,then try keeping your opponents in a range where they have to respect the dash punch.

jax is all about the corner,he gets weak damage midscreen,you have to be able to keep your opponent in the corner.

best damage midscreen is 33% from close ground pound,NJP 1 1 12 dash punch

you should mix f4 OHS,d3 OHS,throws,etc.

After OHS and EX Ground Pound you can add a long Ground Pound or Energy Wave. If i remember right you can dash and then Dash Punch after Long Ground Pound. Also another moves you could mix are F41 (low) F3 + Gotcha Grab(medium) and Throw.

dont be using b124 string midscreen... but just for punishes or if you are sure to be landing the jip. its not that great imo, you are better off using f4 variations, also 123 string is deceptive coz the last hit kinda comes out slow and you can link in a special, for standing opp link in a grab to make it safe and stay in their face, for grounded opp link in OHS to start your mixup game.

i am not that good with Jax, only tried him for a short bit but this is what i recall.

to punish you should use the 12 leg hit OHS does 22% damage if i remember correctly

dont always rush in,if you're in dash punch range they have to respect it
